One of the arguments is that marijuana users could blame a positive drug-test on hemp-seed oil or other hemp product that they may have used. When in all reality the conflict between hemp food consumption and the workforce drug testing cannot be mixed between the two and is not common. THC levels in hemp oil and seeds are maintained below 5 and 2 parts per million, if the drug testing was followed by the federal procedure that if any urine sample tests positive it should be confirmed by GC/MS. Another argument is that some feel that legalizing hemp is saying that they want the legalization of marijuana. The truth is that those that are ‘hemp only activists’ such as the Hemp Industries Association do not support marijuana legalization. Those that are pushing for the legalization of hemp are farmers that want to grow a non-intoxicating crop like their family did many years ago. Hemp could be used for a number of things that citizens use on a daily basis. Hemp can be grown in most soil types, requires no pesticides and requires little maintenance, and this magical plant can be used for a very large number of necessities and goods we use today. Hemp is not a drug that will alter one 's state. It is beneficial to the people and to the economy. Therefore, the use of Hemp should be in all fifty states of the United States.
