I have gone through 16 years of school from kindergarten to college. Education is such a substantial part of my life. If I didn’t go to school I wouldn’t have learned the basics of education like learning how to read and write, or things more into the complex subjects like chemistry or sociology. I hope my children will enjoy school and apply themselves as much as I do because education is so important for everyday life. Another reason I believe education is so crucial is because of the social aspect of it. Going to school helped me learn how to build relationships with other people other than the family that I see everyday. It also helped me learn the difference in talking to an authority figure and a close friend. My final reason that I believe education is so necessary is because my probability of getting a good job without a good education is very slim. Not very many places would hire me for a job that I don’t have the college/university credits for, and a very small portion of places will even consider hiring me without a high school diploma or an equivalent to one. I believe that family life, the importance of education, and work experience are my biggest societal influences in my life because they are the most important to me and I have learned a lot from all three. I will absolutely be taking most of the things that I have learned in my societal influences over the years and teaching them to my children. I think it’s a great idea to sit back, and pinpoint and examine the main societal influences in your own life to be able to give recognition and appreciativeness to those who deserve
