Islam has definite rules about euthanasia. Firstly, Muslims do not support euthanasia because it is forbidden to damage their body. They believe that the body does not belong them, they just use it for a while. People just use their bodies until apocalypse it is like escrow afterlife they will give the body back to the God who is the real owner of the body. According to the Qur'an, “Do not take life, which Allah made sacred, other than in the course of justice.” (17:33). This statement explains people’s lives value according to Islam. In an addition, in Islam people must not change their death time it is unchangeable and irrecusable just Allah can decide when humans will die. There is a Sura in the Qur'an, “When their time comes they cannot delay it for a single hour, nor can they bring it forward by a single hour.” (16:61). There is a dialog in a book called Sahih Bukhari which is written by Muhammed el-Bukhari, “The prophet said: 'Amongst the nations before you there was a man who got a wound and growing impatient (with its pain) he took a knife and cut his hand with it and the blood did not stop till he died. Allah said, ‘My slave hurried to bring death upon himself so I have forbidden him (to enter) Paradise.” ( qtd. in Sahih-I Buhari) It is a serious issue to harm any living thing in Islam. It has a extremely big punishment people cannot enter Paradise if they kill themselves. Secondly, in Christianity euthanasia is not an acceptable thing as they think life is given by God. There are some different ideas about euthanasia in Christianity, but the main idea is it must be forbidden. According to the Roman Catholic view Euthanasia is not acceptable because it is ethically wrong. (qtd. in Evangelium Vitae) In Evangelium Vitae Pope John Paul II expressed that we must share pain it is a rule of compassion, but it is not right to kill someone who suffers people cannot bear it.
