Job Responsibility - promoting the continuous development of Team members
First, the primary responsibility of a team leader is to provide guidance, directions and instructions to individuals who are in the team for the sole purpose of achieving a certain goal. This goal requires a great amount of responsibility and learning from the leaders who are required to develop ways to achieve the certain goal and fulfill their job responsibility. One such way is the use of the process called brainstorming. This is so, as when team leaders establish a concept of brainstorming

They do not feel intimidated when working with different departments as they are well informed that the departments are working towards a shared goal for the company. Other than this cross functional teams creates a diverse environment for the leaders and ensures that management will have the resources it needs to make the best decision. And with a diverse environment leaders are able to learn new experiences, expertise and problem solving skills which creates ways to alternatives that may not have been heard before. Also, when leaders work in such a diverse environment conflict of opinions and difficulties are likely to develop. Leaders must act swiftly to avoid such scenarios’ and ensure the team stays focused on working towards the required objectives. Also, leaders should be open to new initiative in order to understand the viewpoint of other team members. For example, a leader from an engineering department may create tools to help in the production of bakery products which may not receive positive comments from the bakery leader as they do not understand the use of the tool. However, when the bakery leader is open to new creations and patiently understands the other person’s point of view they will be willing to accept new tools useful in the production section of the bakery. They are able to communicate to them what would they like to see as their desired outcome. This further helps in the utilization of natural talent where workers who are passionate about their jobs work towards the desired outcome and the results are usually the best. Also, when work is divided among several employees or members there is less wastage of time as employees focus on their own work and don’t shift around to process someone else’s work. In other words, every individual is assigned a task that they excel in and needs to be completed before the deadline. And when individuals are assigned to a job that suits their skills, aptitudes, training and experience it becomes easier for the leader or manager to supervise or direct instructions to them as they are well informed about the job and understand the vision of the manager. For example, a person who excels in the decoration of cakes in the bakery would understand a certain design description from the leader better than someone who has recently joined the team with no experience or knowledge about the job. Finally, a worker who is passionate about their job makes a happy worker who works hard to accomplish the job, and is willing to put extra effort to create a product that satisfies leaders, managements and
