Some might call it the Cold War, but for the purpose of an example it will be called the Berlin Airlift. So During the Berlin Airlift many soldier would often fly over to Germany to Supply the Germany’s that were malnourished, because of the Russians blocking all access into the capital of Germany, berlin. So the U.S. had a great idea of using planes to fly over the city and drop off food, water, and fuel to the people of Berlin. The Berlin Airlift was never so much a war or battle but more a “Who can use propaganda to their advantage”. None of the two side actually went to war, but rather used propaganda and verbal communication to see who would be the chicken of the two. They would often use World War II bomber to provide the transportation necessary for the deliver, since they would hold tons of product and would be used to scare the Soviets. The Berlin Airlift was more of a propaganda battle between the U.S. and the Soviet. The U.S never fought the Soviet directly. We had prevented the Soviet form influencing communism through Germany and causing Germany to turn communist. During the Korean War North Korea invaded South Korea to try to unify both North and South Korean and become communist. Rather than taking down North Korean we stood our ground at the 38th parallel and containing the North Koreans from spreading communism into south Korea. Finally the Cuban MIssile crisis gave the Soviets an upper hand it taking down the U.S, but the U.S. was not allowing the Soviet to gain an upper hand. In an attempt to take down the soviets the U.S. had set up a 1,100 miles wide quarantine zone to prevent the Soviet from sending missiles into Cuba.
