DNA is found in the majority of cell. In animals and plants DNA are bundled together into chromosomes. In every cell of an organism is the entire DNA blueprint for that particular organism.
The complete set of genes for an organism is called the genome. The genome for animals and plants has been estimated to be between 25000 to 50000 genes.

There are many values in the world which can influence science one of the major ones would be religious and theological values, these values influence science and how much research can be done into a particular topic as some research might be against a deity or a religious text.
Another value would be ethical frameworks people use to make their decisions and how the values could dictate if people can do research into a topic, for example many peoples ethical frameworks would not allow research with animals, so many people won 't be able to do research with animals as it is against people 's values.
Science is a human act and therefore values are dominant. Values will contribute to how much research can be done into a certain topic. People will act by their values and will not do something which is against their own values, so, if something in science is against someone 's values they will not support it. Values do slow down science 's progression but many values are good and don 't let science go over the top and keep it
