Examples of SMART goals that I have developed to thrust me towards leadership include: Upon completion of this course, I would have learned the specifics of what leadership is, and be able to apply those concepts in my daily life. And, performing a periodic assessment of my skills every two years to see if I am at the level I should be and make the necessary adjustment. These SMART goals will allow me to be consistent, establish a true north, and connect me with my work, and my top personal values of accountability, independence, and reliability will help me achieve this. By practicing these traits, my fellow constituents will see the standards I hold and the consistency I follow, and this will inspire and motivate them to create their own SMART goals.
