American History is schools has been white washed and “patriotized” leading Americans to believe they are the “good guys” serving a noble purpose and doing righteous acts of bravery. The way history is written in high school textbooks is almost entirely inaccurate and biased, because it leaves out women and people of color, who happen to be fundamental in America’s actual history.
