Draft 2 Revision Plan My professor and my writing tutor commented that my conclusion is essentially a restatement of what I have already said in my literature review. It is important for a conclusion to contribute to the literature review in some way, so for my next draft, I plan to review the articles and extend my conclusion to include some other observation or where the field could be going. One observation I might include is that although the articles focus on time periods separated by almost five centuries, they describe the struggle of women for gender equality in the same way. Why is the current situation not significantly different from that of Elizabethan England? Another comment I received from my professor was that my proposition is too narrow.…

In Composition II it was both difficult to pick a topic and to continue to only write about that topic. I new that the topic I picked would be the only thing that I would be able to talk about, so I gave the topic a lot of consideration. I took into consideration how much research I would be able to find on it and if it was relevant to today’s issues. I also thought about if there were counter arguments, because I knew that I would have to come up with different arguments other than my main argument to make sure I was not bias. English 1101 is a course aimed to prepare students for their future writing courses and have the necessary skills for writing college level work. Coming into this course I was hopeful that it would improve my general writing skills since throughout my secondary schooling it was acceptable but not exceptional. My current faults are hindering the comprehensiveness of my writings because readers have to sift through the damage to understand the argument and focus of the topic. While I am able to come up with content my inability to logically put it into a written form is something I intended to improve. After this course I hope to have revamped my former weaknesses so I can be a more clear and cohesive writer for the future…

Self-Evaluation Essay Little did I know that I was going to learn a lot more than I thought throughout the semester in ENGL 1433. I began the course dreading reading and writing. I just wanted to be done with the class before the class began and go back to science classes. Despite these initial thoughts and preconceived notions, I did, for the most part, enjoy the class.…
