Trouble often begins early in school; teachers quickly pick out a troublemaker. Being singled out all of the time and get very frustrating. At home and school, it was very hard for me to calm myself down and mirror the behavior of everyone around me. Thankfully isn’t all bad, with a racing mind comes strengths like multitasking and quickly solving problems in unique ways. I had lots of ideas and was very creative when I could focus on doing it. I made things that amazed my friends and parents. At 16 I built my own computer and started working on cars and building small engines. Creativity is the best part about having ADHD; it defines me and is who I am. Since people without ADHD do not have the same chemical imbalances as those with ADHD taking these pills can cause them to become very hyper and wired, essentially causing the opposite affect as those with ADHD.
