I believe people should behave politely and respectfully in the workplace. For instance, I think that it is inappropriate for any of my professors to engage in any sort of behavior with their students that makes them feel uncomfortable. Another example of this unethical behavior would be if a coworker or someone’s boss made sexual advances at work. There are stories all over the news about how CEO’s or people with positions of high authority threaten to fire women or pressure them into doing things that they don’t want to do because those men let their personal feelings take over them at work. Ethical communication practices in personal settings include following the Golden Rule, treating others how you like to be treated, and not interrupting others when they speak. For example, I try not to interrupt my boyfriend when we have a disagreement because I believe it is impolite to speak over
