I have learned different writing techniques, understand the rhetorical analysis, and most importantly, how to find and properly use different reliable sources. Through class exercises and writing the different types of papers I was able to learn those skills. Although I have learned a variety of things, there is still room for more improvement. Skills such as proper grammar and MLA format still need some adjustment. Even though I have things to improve on this semester I was still able to improve some areas of my writing skills.
When it comes to what had the most impact in my prominent learning experience was one of our essays in the middle of the semester. The rhetorical analysis essay. When it comes to grading, I can’t really grade for my life! That was and still is one of the many reasons why I changed my major and other reasons it will not be fair of me; nevertheless, if I would to conclude my grade I would aim for a (B) or a (B-). That’s statistically speaking that is possible if obtained an A on this final essay, however this will not be possible if I would to debunk this essay, hopefully I will not. But if I might add, if I would to argue for a grade, I would argue for a B. My argument would be that I arrived to class prepared, sometimes late? Yes, but prepared. I honestly tried to attend all classes and tried to engage in formal conversation in class about the discussed subject. I did my best to help when it came to the peer review. I did my best when it comes to paying attention to my peers and your lectures. As you can read, I can’t really craft an argument for the grade I deserve, nor can I say that, that was an decent argument; for like I said before, it would be unfair to me and the ones around
