I have wanted to be a nurse my whole life. My mom used to tell me stories of how I would line up my stuffed animals and dolls when I was very young I would stick pencils in their mouths to examine their temperatures and put bandages all over them and then I would hold them and comfort them. I would daydream about nursing; I loved it that much. I have been in the healthcare field for approximately 15 years. I graduated as Nurse in Cuba, in August 2000, after completing the nursing career program at the “Higher institute of Medical Sciences of Cienfuegos”, from 1995 to 2000. I 've kept relationships with nurses and doctors along the way but there is no better pleasure for me than running into a former patient in the supermarket and they say hi remember me, what a great feeling to know that they remember me.
Nightingale’s philosophy includes the four metaparadigm concepts of nursing : person, health, environment, and nursing. This perception is important to nursing theory, because those 4 parts are the key areas of focus when it comes to patient care.
Patient: At the most basic, the patient is the person receiving the nursing care, but, of course, s/he is much more than that. The patient is a person existing in the world who has people who love him/her and care about his/her well-being. Even if that is not the case, the patient is a person who feels the same sorts of fears, pain and disappointments as all hums do at some point. Poor self-concept or stress can be an obstacle to retrieval, consequently if our patient is concerned we need to offer peaceful, silent surroundings and offer nursing care that is complete. Wilkinson and Counts are very diverse nurses yet they kept the discipline 's metaparadigm because they assessed the patient 's desires founded on the person, health, environment and nursing. By means of observing how these nurses evaluated their patients ' wants in their separate surroundings, I see how in my own practice I can offer attention even though regarding the independence and exclusivity of each person and how they respond to
