Many people view Grand Theft Auto as a bad video game, from its use of foul language to some nudity. However, in modern media today, I feel as though you have to use a little bit of controversy to gain attention to your works of art. In both Rockstar North 's and even Shakespeare 's works, they use a kind of controversy that in the end supplies the masses with a likable project that holds a special place in people 's hearts. Upon playing this game for the first time, I realized its addictive gameplay and biting storyline. I knew it would be the perfect medium to use when this project was brought up due to the broad array of connections that could be made towards it and almost any other form of suggested social commentary. As I have proven, Grand Theft Auto V is a piece of art that can be compared to both The Great Gatsby and Macbeth in convincing
