I personally do not feel this is being held to a great standard. The U.S. has the worst record with sixty nine percent of our waste going to landfills; this is not something anyone should consider influential or superb. Austria recycles or composts seventy percent of their waste, while America only does twenty four percent. In other countries, when they put their trash out, if the garbage company sees something in the bag that can be recycled they do not pick it up. This is a valuable task everyone should do, recycling helps the environment more than anyone could imagine. According to ReEnergy Holdings, “Our recycling facilities are creating biomass fuel that can be used at facilities like our renewable energy facilities. Our renewable energy facilities are using biomass fuel to generate electricity for use in the communities we serve.” The United States only uses about seven percent of their garbage to create renewable energy. Obama has paved the way for President elect Trump, now all Trump has to do is continue the tradition. Trump is a business man, he has created many buildings in large cities that contribute to global warming. Advancements are a necessity, but some places should be kept the way they were brought up in the world. For instance, the Dakota Access Pipeline in Sioux County, North Dakota has been all over social media with Americans peacefully protesting. The pipeline will enable domestically produced light sweet crude oil from North Dakota to reach major refining markets in a more direct, cost-effective, safer and environmentally responsible manner. Yet it will go through Indian Territory that has been there for thousands of years, this is why I believe some parts of the United States should remain untouched and keep our heritage alive. I think most Americans believe this will be a tough task for Trump to take on, but if Obama leads the way I am hoping we will be
