Even though mobile phone devices and its related services offer immense benefits to people all over the world, older adults are lacking behind as they encounter difficulties in accessing these devices and its services. For instance, an individual living in Accra does not need to travel all the way to Kumasi to find out if a particular shop has in stock a desired item the individual would love to purchase. With the use of mobile phone, the individual can call the shop in Kumasi to make enquiries about the product without travelling. Also, with the use of mobile phone services such as Mobile Money, one can pay various utility bills on the go without travelling to the office of the utility provider, thus saving time, energy and money required for transport.
