World War II plays an important part in the history of the world. It still leaves a long lasting impression on us. What actions could have possibly started such a monumental world war? Events such as: World War I, Great Depression, expansion of imperialism, and the rise of Germany contributed to the devastating World War II. The result of these events all compound together create the perfect atmosphere for World War II.

The country wanted someone to restore Germany back to an economic power and to restore the national pride Germans once had. World War I had taken a toll on Germany, especially with the harshness of the Versailles Treaty. Not only did it leave Germany being blamed for everything, but they also had to pay an extremely expensive fee, their territory was reduced, and their military was decreased.
