Stuck on my shoulder are the whispers of anxiety breathing down fear to my body. It feels as though I’m in a marathon constantly barricaded by assessments, unable to see the finish line. The pressure of school feels like a tsunami crashing down. With only 2 months to go, I struggle to find the determination, will or strive to continue. I feel emotionally, physically and mentally drained. The top issues of concern to young people in 2013 were, in order, coping with stress, school or study problems, body image, depression and family conflict (Blue, 2016).
