During the Industrial Revolution, there were significant changes in society and economy that were extremely favorable for all aspects of society, creating massive changes in lifestyles. These changes included an increasing mechanization, agriculture, industry, and trade. People’s job of controlling every step of manufacture, doing everything by hand and working on the whole fabrication process was diminished because in one hand, employees were replaced by machines, and on the other hand, machines were much more efficient than an average worker. Being that said, it describes how a man who is specialized in only one subject could easily be replaced with the upcoming inventions of advanced science because he is specialized in that one field rather than knowing the whole process of manufacture. This alienates every man from being multi task and as a consequence, increasing unemployment.
The European employers’ mindset agreed that each machine might replace a whole army of workers, while having a better accuracy and efficiency without any mistake. This gave a positive outcome to employers because they had to pay less wages at lower amounts.
