Act I Scene 5
Today is the day,the day of the ball. I woke up and took my daily bath then got dressed for breakfast. I hope that I meet someone new at the ball its been awhile since I made a new friend.Later that day at the ball I was minding my own business when a masked man approached me and said”If I profane with my unworthiest hand this holy shrine the gentle fine is this my lips two blushing pilgrims ready stand to smooch that rough touch with a tender kiss.” Then in the midst of the dancers he kissed me. His kiss was as if i was kissing two perfectly plumped pillows. After he kisses me the first time he says something to me but I was too distracted by his kiss to reply then he kisses me again. Then the Nurse comes in and tells me my mother has requested me.After the ball I ask the nurse who that man was she dose not know so I ask her to find out his name. A MONTAGUE,Romeo Montague, my only love sprung from my only hate.

Mercutio and Benvolio both felt the raging sun as it threw its scorching, afternoon rays onto the town square in Verona. Benvolio pleaded that Mercutio should leave with him as he feared there would be a bad ending to the day if they should be confronted by a Capulet and an argument occurred. They could hear the sound of water as it trickled into the tub in front of the church. The sound of the water could be heard from the market stalls where Mercutio and Benvolio were standing. The white towel in Mercutio’s left hand was placed gently over his face as he wiped away the sweat while they walked from the stalls to the water tubs.…

This flaw, despite the tragedy it causes, shows that, at least to Romeo and Juliet, love will bring them together, no matter how long they have actually been with each other, or the dangers of being together. Both Lady Montague and Montague, and Lady Capulet and Capulet all have tragic flaws that cause bad things for many people. They have the same flaw, and that flaw is the opposite of Romeo's: overzealous hate. This flaw shines through multiple times throughout the play. Infact, when Lady Capulet's nephew dies, the first thing she does is call for the death of a Montague, by saying “Romeo must not live.…

Romeo And Juliet Essay “Virtue is its own reward, and brings with it the truest and highest pleasure; but if we cultivate it only for pleasure 's sake, we are selfish, not religious, and will never gain the pleasure, because we can never have the virtue” (John Henry Newman) The theme of love as being blind is repeatedly discussed in Romeo and Juliet. It is shown through religious uses of imagery and their betrayal of their faith. Romeo compares Juliet to a saint as he kisses her hand, saying that he is unworthy to do so, and at several moments the duo declare their love as divined by God who he in return betrays by committing sin. These narrative choices leave behind many questions such as, what are the connection between their affair and the…

“Tragedy is an imitation of an action that is complete and whole… (Aristotle 31)”. This theory conveyed by Aristotle in his renowned work Poetics expresses the idea that a successful tragedy consists of specific principles that reoccur in classic literature. The theory emphasizes that a tragedy represents reality and universal truths rather than historical particulars. This is achieved by creating a tightly-woven cause and effect chain or “unity of action” that centers around the plot rather than the personalities of the characters. Also, the plot of the tragedy should have complex, specific, and coherent turning points, that are a part of the “unity of action”.…
