1.What factors have led to your own identity formation? There are so many factors that I feel have led me to who I am today. With some experiences being better than others. I truly have taken advantage of striving to embrace the blessings and overcome the hurts of my past. Though I like to say many of the facts I gained influence from were established by great memories, the reality is that was not the case. Coming from a family origin that did not put God as priority formulated an unstable situation for our family unity. From the outside our family foundation looked solid but inside dysfunction had found a home. Growing up I often wondered if this was the true way to living life. Basically I began to think for myself and expand my curiosity to define who Angela was through God 's image. Jeremiah 29:11says, "For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for well-being and not for trouble, to give you a future and a hope." (New Life Version) It was not soon after, I discovered the passion for dance and it was then I experienced a new element to formulate my identity. I share all this information about myself because I use to wish I wouldn 't had went through all the dysfunction I did. In Romans 12:2 God 's word informs us to not be conformed by the elements of this world, but for us to be proactively seeking the imagine God has intended for each of our lives. By nature we will fall into the temptation of our surrounding environments. "Our genes affect how people react to and influence us."(Myers & Dewall, 2015, p. 151) This is why the Bible warns us to walk in awareness of processing our surroundings so that our identity 's transform in a righteous way. The value of our own wealth of ourselves is nothing compared to the value God has for each of us. God 's plan for our lives is to build an identity that will ultimately lead us to
