Whatever happens to my body 's portrayal of itself in the process will be more of a bonus than a goal because what 's important in health is feeling healthy and proud about it. As a nationwide whole, relying less on the fast-food industry and media to instigate where our money and pride should go, will improve our health indefinitely and our own self confidence. It takes effort and support to learn to love yourself, and neither of those two things weighing you down are ever going to help you with self-affection. Because all the industry cares for is money! Even if they added more salad options and raked up the prices for their more unhealthy meals, would it matter to them what your health looks like? They know well enough that any amount of health-engaged change will lower their business and therefor profit. And regardless, we can 't rely on publicized figures to give us our health, because they make their wealth off of our discretions. If we beg for change, what could they even really alter? We 're left to fend for ourselves, and that might make it better anyways, when you really think about
