It is estimated that the value of the software piracy was about ten billion USD and %31 of computer users engage in it in 2011 (Reynolds, 2015). However, penalties of the software piracy is significantly expensive than paid license. For instance, one automotive company paid about $300,000 as penalty of the software piracy in 2012. The company also paid required software licenses and deleted entire unlicensed applications from its computers as a part of agreement with BSA.
