Graphic design is constantly changing and will always revolve around the culture surrounding it. It is hidden throughout ones everyday lives such as the face of an app, a billboard, or even ones clothes. Graphic design plays a behind the scenes role that has a huge impact whether noticed of not. Words and images are the basics for graphic design and must be used to lift up and encourage others. The importance of the small things becomes big and this book takes that very seriously. The connection of these things allows a reader to emotionally and visually connects also. Typography plays a role that is important in the success of an artwork. Bolded, colorful, and italicized words help a point be taken seriously. Bolded words create emphasis on important information on the piece. The lines, patterns, and color draw the viewer’s eye to the main points. Bullet points and roman numerals are considered steps in the brain. The eye follows the path down the paper reading and focusing on the words no the background. When an image is applied and the words are at the bottom the eye immediately goes to the image. Contrary to the text being on the image the eye sees the words then the background image. A continuous pattern or color creates a cohesive look throughout the
