Bolded, colorful, and italicized words help a point be taken seriously. Bolded words create emphasis on important information on the piece. The lines, patterns, and color draw the viewer’s eye to the main points. Bullet points and roman numerals are considered steps in the brain. The eye follows the path down the paper reading and focusing on the words no the background. When an image is applied and the words are at the bottom the eye immediately goes to the image.
