The Value Of Nursing

I have entered into a profession that people around the world describe as a caring profession and that is Nursing. I decided to enter this field because I want to make a positive difference in people 's lives. The real core value of nursing is having the ability to care. I don 't mean the ability to take care of a patient, but the ability of genuinely caring about their well-being, emotionally and physically. When you have, this has the core value in nurses, along with knowledge, everything else comes simultaneously: kindness, compassion, patience. That is why I am in nursing. I believe I could have the capacity to really, genuinely care for every single patient that I get to encounter.

Nurses can organize social awareness classes in the Canadian schools to address the most prevalent issues in Canada for instance; rising obesity rate, physical inactivity, increasing infant mortality rates. Lack of nutritious food can lead to chronic diseases and it causes huge cost to Canadian society in terms of both treatment and lost productivity. Nurses are skilled at helping patients to develop prevention and management strategies, ongoing support and education to the community.
History had made clear that the role of nurses in Canadian society is dynamic and ever-changing. The Nurses are accountable not only for the quality and safety of care they deliver, but also for their role in shaping a healthy Canadian society. Nursing will change again in the next 100 years, but the fundamentals will be the same. And despite all the challenges it will still be a great profession. I believe that Nursing is the most trusted professions in the world and the roles, responsibilities of nurses are growing within the society. I 'm grateful every day that I 'm a
