Complex Systems In The Classroom

Our body as we know it is a complex system as well as the class room environment where skill learning takes place. This is due to the multiple moving parts inside the systems. Complex systems also have other facets to them such as having multiple levels to them, having attractor states to do things in certain ways, having self-emergent discovery, affordances constraints, as well as things working together independently but together as a whole. Our bodies being complex as well as the class room have made teaching become a complex system. There for non-linear teaching is necessary for the outcome we want, as for the students to learn the right skills they need to be partaking in specific games (TGFU) to get anything out of the games.

The player though an individual was also part of the team and the team cannot operate as it would like without the individuals. The DTS strongly describes how a complex system works as a complex system is something that has multiple working parts but only one end product but has different ways of getting there. Within these complex systems there are multiple things going on at once as things don’t happen at separate times like we once thought in fact they happen simultaneously so when you think to do something and then do it, it all happens at once. These things can happen in a range of ways as well but it is always limited to a degree of freedom such as your shoulder being able to move in a rotation movement compared to the elbow which is a hinge joint that can only move in one plane of motion, this shows everything has a specific way you can do things depending on the freedom you are given. In an environmental context it is taking part in a sport with rules and having to play to the rules though these give you affordances as you can use the rules to your advantage which is what the good teams are able to do. And this is what we are wanting to teach in the classrooms is not the actual skill itself of throwing and kicking rather the game sense …show more content…
This is developed with the use of TFGU through TGFU they are able to develop the use of harnessing energy systems, constraints, self-organisation and imagination theory
Harnessing the energy systems doesn’t refer to the energy systems in the body but rather harnessing the energy of the open system of a game such as a person identifying that there is a gap in the other team’s formation and then using it to your
