Technology in the Past VS. Present
When comparing appearance, operation, and specs of Technology in the past to the present, phones, television, and computers have come a long way. Connection plays a big role in how technology continues to be great, Phones are a part of it. In the 1800’s there was the invention of the telephone which was then called a “liquid transmitter” This was made up of a “vertical metal cone with a piece of parchment stretched like a drum over its narrow end at the base. On the outside of the parchment, a cork with a needle was stuck in it, pointing into a tiny cup of diluted sulphuric acid.” To be able to use the telephone, He or she had to talk through the end of of the cone and the voice would travel through recievers. Internet has become mobile with the ability to use anywhere at any given moment. The appearance of computers in the past was rather bulky and only worked with a keyboard mouse and computer screen it was operated by broadband which only allowed a certain amount of internet connection which was exceptionally slow. Others were able to use the internet to go on websites and play games,send emails, and read various news articles. In the present not only are there desktop computers but also laptop computers that come in different shapes and sizes: Big, Small, and Medium. There were several different colors to choose from such as Touchscreen desktops and laptops with a wireless mouse, built in speakers and video cameras for pictures and videos. Theirs also fast connections which give others the ability to stream tv shows, movies and use various social networking sites.
