Community College and University: The Better Choice
Choosing where to go to college after high school means going into a exciting ,unfamiliar world full of new possibilities. Deciding whether to go to a community college or a university many times depend on a person 's grades. There is also many other huge factors. Financial issues, someone 's type of learning environment, or whether you have determined a major or not are other big factors. For example, if someone wants to be a doctor and has a set path of pursuing medical school, they should attend a four-year university, but if someone is not prepared to leave home or has not decided on a major, a community college would be a better choice. Although they serve the same purpose there are major differences, but there is surprisingly many similarities between a community college and university.

Both colleges and universities have similar student bodies. The age tends to range from eighteen to twenty-two. Although community colleges tend to have older students either returning to school or attending for the first time. They also have continuing education and workforce programs. These programs offer training for certain fields such as nursing or technical fields of study. Both schools also offer transferable credit. Some stricter universities might double check the curriculum and it is usually no problem transferring to a community college. Student life may vary but most colleges and universities offer sports and activities to do. Universities may offer more options
