(Fisher, 2014, p. 371) For Christianity fundamental beliefs are based upon the Hebrew Bible known as the Old Testament within the Holy Bible also referred to as an old covenant between God and mankind. In the beginning there was God and God was known by mankind and provided with laws to follow which bought about strife and division due to differences in beliefs and practices, so God became man to show humanity the true meaning of love, mercy, forgiveness, and sacrifice and still strife and division continues. Let’s hope humanity can learn from its mistakes and not only obtain reconciliation between God and mankind, but reconcile our differences with each
