My Life Obstacles

Register to read the introduction… I fear that I’m going to fail in school because I don’t have much confidence in my intelligence. I fear that I will not be able to achieve my goals in life or that I’ll have to settle for something less. I’m afraid to pick the wrong career and find out that I’m being let go because of the economy. I’m afraid that I will not have the stability that I desperately need. I don’t need a fancy life, I just want to be comfortable and be confident that I can pay the bills every month. I’m also extremely afraid of disappointing my family, especially my father, by not doing as well as they expect of me. I’m uncertain of what I want to do with my life. I have always wanted to become an elementary school teacher, but I have also wanted to join the Air Force. Becoming a teacher would mean about six more years of college to get my bachelors, a lot of money to pay for it, and then there’s the horrible possibility of being laid off. Or an even worse possibility is not being able to find a job at all. In the Air Force I’ll get free schooling, free housing, and incredible career and travel opportunities. All I would have to do is sign a 4-6 year contract. The Air Force would give me the stability I need, and provide me with all the tools I need to make a great life for myself. Uncertainty and fear weigh me down a lot, and keep me from making a life changing decision. In conclusion, there are so many obstacles that I have as a college student, but everyone has obstacles. Obstacles are a part of life, and it’s a very difficult part of growing up. Obstacles are there to help us learn, grow, and to keep life interesting. With faith in the Lord, I know everything will work out and I’ll be okay. I just need to keep praying for guidance, and follow my
