Cold mountain book review Cold Mountain is a historical novel during the civil war and two people who love each other are caught in the middle of it. Inman is a damage war soldier takes a journey across america after being injured in a battle and now tries to find the woman she loves Ada a young farmer girl. While Inman was in the hospital mainly looking out the window staring at the mountains.The view brought old memories from his past back home in black cove with his love Ada. He didn 't want go back home because he was injured in the neck and was damaged by the war. Inman was also damaged by the men that were lost and he never forgot the battle where he was injured. Then Inman still on his journey remembering the same memory when she was on his lap when he was walking he saw someone. He saw the preacher who name was Veasey and went with inman on his journey even inman really did not have a choice. Inman and the preacher met a man name junior and they drank with each other where woman started to enter the house and where all over Inman one girl Lila was all over him and she stared to stip when Junor came with a gun angry at them and kick them out and took them to a prison change, Junor did this because he gain Five dollar for every men he turns in.These men who had him we 're going to kill them all and just watch them die as they just left there bury in the dirt to die and a pig came around and dug him out and he was alone again and went back on his journey. He met a slave and the slave took care of him and when he was recover he went back on his journey and continue. He stop at Junior 's house to pick up nap sack where his gun was at and went to Junior and hit him with his gun. Then on his Journey he met a woman name sara who had her pig who had been stolen and Inman help to go find it and shot the Federals who took the pig from her and gave the pig back to her.
