The change in climate not only affects people around the world, but affects their lifestyles, traditions and customs too. When the climate changes, people automatically think about the change in weather and how they will respond to it. Stepping back and looking at climate change from an objective point of view, people see how it affects the food they eat, the air they breathe, and the environment around them in which they are raising their children. God is in control of the universe, and He alone controls the climate and any changes that can come from it; however there are things people do in their daily lives that affect the climate and any effects in their personal life that come from it. (Mohney, 2013) The National Institutes of Health studies on climate change and its effect has come to a realization that people are more vulnerable when exposed to extreme change in hotter weather. When the weather tends to increase, the toxic chemicals stored around us (in the asphalt, or even put into the air through pollution from factories) causing air pollution to become a bigger problem than it is now. “The research from this program will guide public health interventions, to ultimately prevent harm to the most vulnerable people.” (Kovats, n.d.) With the climate fluctuating from intense heat to freezing nights, a few other health issues are concerning scientists, such as: heat cramps, strokes, diseases and asthma. Of course, there is nothing new under the sun because asthma, strokes, cramps and allergies have been around for years. The difference between then and now with these specific health issues is the fact that they are becoming more constant and deadly with the change in climate throughout the years. With the climate constantly changing, it changes the length of seasons. The seasons begin to overlap causing more flowers and trees to blossom at the same time causing irritating dryness to the nose and making the eyes uncontrollably watery.
