Christmas is many people’s favorite time of the year, one of the most memorable parts of Christmas is the putting up and decorating of the Christmas Tree. Christmas takes place in winter and trees are common this time of year. The Christmas Tree is one of the most traditional objects of the holiday season that goes back many generations and many different cultures use them. Several steps are involved in this process. Decorating a Christmas Tree can be done in five major steps which are; putting up the bare tree, stringing the lights, adding ornaments, using tinsel, and placing the tree topper on top.

Tall people can go ahead and do it themselves or use a step ladder or a stool to reach high and place it. Their are different options for the tree topper, a lot of people use a star (which is very common) or there are other options like an angel or a bow. Anything will be pretty as long as it fits between the top of the tree and the roof. Without a tree topper the tree will not look too complete and will be empty on top, since this is the last step to polishing off a pretty tree.
And then at the end you might put on the tinsel, tinsel can be different colors and it should match the tree well, but two of the most traditional colors are silver and gold. Different people do this different ways, one way is to string it around the tree from the top to the bottom, it might also be placed on by cutting it into pieces and laying it into the tree to fill in any empty spaces. This is a good decoration to use to bring some really pretty sparkles to the Christmas Tree.
Putting up the tree, stringing lights, adding ornaments, using tinsel, and placing the tree topper are the 5 important steps to decorating a tree.
