Both the text and video use imagery, conflict, child perspective, and setting. Imagery is used in the text and the video by showing and telling us what the children go through like painting a real picture in our minds so we can image ourselves in their shoes. This tells and shows the reader that we don't need to take what we have for granted, to always be thankful for what we have. Conflict is used in both the text and video by showing and telling us how the children risk their life and education on their survival and their families.this shows and tells the reader that we have to be lucky that we can just go to the store down the road and get what we need to survive on and live on and not risk our life walking over 3 hours to just get water that could be all gone. They dont through what we go through they go through alot worse. Just take a minute to imagine yourself in their shoes. Imagine what they go through everyday to survive their dangers lives. Just because we are able to go in our house sit down and watch TV doesnt mean others can. Afghanistan kids are not as lucky as we are. They have been through so much in there lifetime to survive.
