Since childhood, I have always dreamed of becoming a nurse. Not only is it my career aspiration, but it is my passion to help people and be a bright component to their dark times. It was my dream to enter college with the end goal of obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing to become a nurse. I have completed this first step by beginning my college career at UNC Charlotte. Going forward, my plan is to spend more time studying on the weekends when I do not have assignments that are due, instead of taking a break from schoolwork. This will improve my grades in the long run as well. Because our class did an activity about campus resources, I am now aware of all of the resources that this university offers me to help me achieve my goals. I have begun utilizing SI Sessions, the writing resource center, and personal tutoring appointments. For both chemistry and algebra, I have set up appointments, in advance, for almost once a week until the end of the semester. These tutoring sessions have helped me immensely. Through the advising questionnaire worksheet, and after meeting with my advisor for the first time, I know that the university advisors are always available to answer any question I may
