There are many things that are a cause of climate change, but many of them are activities that can be stopped by just human consideration and effort. Burning fossil fuels is a major contributor for climate change. Cooking, an almost routinely event in most people’s lives, although what you may not know is that many people from multiple under developed countries are using many old stoves, often fueled by cow dung or other biomasses. These stoves have very poor insulation and allow soot up into the atmosphere. “Produces gases such as carbon monoxide that are dangerous to breathe. It also creates soot--tiny particles of partially burned material that float up in the hot, rising air.” (Grunbaum 20) What that means is that there is unhealthy hot air floating up and creating warmer climates. Besides this creating climate change around the world, it is also a threat to health in other undeveloped countries where these stoves are the only thing they can afford. This and more can all be prevented with just human help, and also with the effort of …show more content…
Climate change can create bad things, most things that people wouldn’t even realize in their normal day, but in the future they will realize they should have been helping to prevent it. Thunderstorms, natural disasters and lightning are all becoming more common because of global warming. “Lightning will increase 12% every one degree the world warms.” (Summer 15) Storms are more common, but also things such as eruptions, and many natural disasters are endangering human life. With the warmer weather, more water vapor has been getting collected in the clouds, which has been proven to create more frequent thunderstorms. In the arctic polar caps are melting due to these climate changes. They are losing their homes due to how we are treating our environment, which in thought really isn’t that fair for them, because they don’t get to keep their homes and don’t have a say in
