For the longest time, I thought my mother was the one who was holding me back from becoming who I truly wanted to be. However, I realized recently that I have been imprisoning myself in a cage built by my own fear and uncertainty. I challenged the belief I thought my mother chiseled into my mind, but now that I am confident enough to believe in my own decisions, I realize my mother just wants the best for me. She wants me to live a good life and to be happy. I always thought she worked with the extrinsic motivation of financial incentives, but now I see that she was intrinsically motivated by her love for her kids and hope that they would live a better life. With that said, I am determined to live life driven by the intrinsic desire to be happy with what I do and who I am, and only then can I show my mother, I am living a better
