The Ang Bahay Kubo is a specially crafted American/Philippine cuisine with astonishingly great food and a unique atmosphere like no other restaurant. It is one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. The environment of the restaurant is what really makes it stand out from the others due to its unique and diverse features. It was like they took a home straight from the Philippines and made it into a restaurant. The actual restaurant is designed like a Filipino wood hut, also known as a Bahay Kubo (hence the name). The restaurant starts to display its unique design the moment you walk up the first steps starting with the door. The door looks like a door you would see on an ordinary home. When I took my first step in the restaurant I was truly amazed with the diverse features they had implemented. It made me feel like I was going to a formal dinner at some very important person’s house. The walls where wooden along with the floor and tables, which was new for me as I had never been to a restaurant with all wooden fixtures. It was almost like a cabin in the woods. The lighting was not like other restaurants where it’s either to bright or too dark to where you can’t even see your food. It was almost like it was a perfectly ambient light. Also the restaurant was very clean and neat, which gives a sense of wellbeing. The utensils and tables where spotless, there was no water marks or any other sort of
