The list of questions I had planned on asking were 1) What are the skills that are most important for a position in the field and what are your duties, functions, and responsibilities on a typical day? 2) What are the various jobs in this field or organization? 3) What was your major and did you receive any certificates during your education? 4) What kinds of experiences, paid or unpaid, would you recommend for persons pursuing a career in this field? and 5) Why did this type of work interest you and did you always know you wanted to pursue this field of study? Some additional questions I thought to ask her during the interview were based on her emphasis in graphic design, such as 1) What benefit does graphic design hold in your career? I want to continue talking or interviewing more individuals who either have a marketing major, or are pursuing a career in it now and see what tips they have for me within this area. Additionally, I want to get an internship specific to marketing, but also get an internship that has more of a variety so I don 't pigeon hole myself without exploration. Lastly, I want to get involved with Women in Business to form relationships and gain insight from those who have the same interests and pursuits as me. I think I am on the right path to finding what career is right for me, however I need to take one step at a time and not overwhelm myself. I look forward to what this adventure will
