Capital Punishment: To Be or Not To Be? “I don 't agree with capital punishment as it is now, because too often mistakes are made. But I think that if you eliminate the mistakes, then there are times when it is justified”, was a quote by Jeff Lindsay which is hard to disagree with. Capital punishment is legally authorized killing of someone as punishment for a crime. That is not morally right for one to get to live while others have to suffer. Life in prison also does not give a harsh enough punishment for such crimes, it does not undo the action.
