OVERVIEW –

• Mars Chocolate bar was first manufactured in England 1932 and was advertised for being as a trade made with Cadbury chocolate couverture.
• The Mars bar made a $33 billion dollar revenue last year making its most profitable year in their history.
• It came out in Canada with all of its limited edition flavours due to high standards of chocolate bars in Canada. It was known as a candy bar and not a chocolate bar.
• Since 2006 all of the products made by mars have been peanut free. In fact, mars is one of the few candy bars in North America which doesn’t have a trace of peanuts in all of their products.

• Mars in Canada and America declares itself as an energy bar with the message “Recharge yourself”. In UK and Australia the message is different “A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play". And in Europe it’s “a pleasure you can’t measure”.

• Mars uses all media houses to advertise their ads it uses direct marketing, OHH, radio, print media, television media, digital advertising, design and branding. Due to vast popularity on a global scale it has to invest in all of the mediums according to the countries preferences.
• Mars doesn’t use any advertising agency as they have an inbuilt advertising agency called the Mars Incorporated.
