Although the problem is very well identified the author does go over some redundant information. Some of facts of the justification are common knowledge, for example “… our planet is still continuing to grow”. Instead of the author going over common knowledge readers want to know thing that they don’t already know.
The largest problem with the proposal is the description of the program itself. The section starts well by showing the positive effects the program will have on high school students, but follows up with an underdeveloped subsection of the topics covered in the course. There are 6 topics covered in the section and each is followed by one or two sentences of minimal explanation.
The other potential problem with the proposal which is not identified is the process of implementing the course into an already full high school curriculum. Students at the high school level already have required subjects that fill up their timetable at the younger ages. The proposal suggests that the course would replace am elective course but during the junior and senior years of high school students must use the electives to take career specific courses, such as chemistry or law. These courses are usually required to get into programs such as engineering or med school. The author does not identify this problem even though it is potentially the most …show more content…
ministry of education. The course would have to be evaluated and looked, which will take time, before it will be introduced to students. Although the proposal has good headers and sections a small but technical problem with it is that some sections go on to the next page with one sentence left in the section, for example the conclusion section.
Some technical recommendations would be the Appendices A and B and Citations sections should be on their own page. This is simply a formatting issue and can be easily fixed.
The last recommendation for the proposal is to make sure there is no overlap in the course with other courses. Some courses in high school already go over some of the topics mentioned in the proposal such as, depletion of natural resources and climate change. High school students may get bored easily if they are taught the same subject again; it will result in no positive change for both the environment and the knowledge of the
