At first I thought this would be a good pick for me since I had some experience in helping my boss with a few things for his fundraiser as well as going to the event and seeing the finished product and how much people enjoyed the fundraiser. On the first day of class when we went around the room sharing what we might want to do for our project I said plan a fundraiser, but after listening to everyone say theirs and everyone seemed to be doing a creative story piece it got me a little nervous. After class that night I went home and thought about what else I might want to do for my project but nothing was coming into my mind. Upon giving up on finding an idea that night I went to bed and hoped another idea would pop into my head over the next couple of days. After a few days went by I went to do my homework for class and the assignment was you had to write at least three ideas you would want to do for your project, I thought to myself I was in trouble since I only have one and it still needed a lot of work. I began thinking of different points of my life but nothing really stuck out to me or seemed that I could relate it to this project but then it hit me. The experience that came to mind was when I was going away to college. When I looked back on my experience I believed it was unique because in total I've been to four different colleges and I believe other students could relate to this. Where my journey began was senior year of high school and applying to colleges, I was so caught up in the last year of high school I just randomly applied to schools or some my parents wanted me to or some my friends applied to. After blowing this process off when it came to pick a college I was lost so I picked the one that I thought I would have most fun at. This decision would turn out to be wrong and I came home from this school after the first semester. Once I returned home I went to community college for second semester and applied to another four-year college. I only applied to this school because my friends went there and I thought the reason I did not like my first school was because I didn’t have the comfort of my friends from home.
