Professor George Discoll Essay

Professor George Driscoll is an extremely kind, helpful, motivational and fun person I have met. He is a computer science professor who spent his 30 years as a pilot. First day, I walked into his class I got a good aura and a burst of positivity from him. For me he is an amazing and motivating professor, who supports and encourages his students. I would wake up every day at 7 pm to attend his class with a curiosity to learn. I walked in Professor George office that was full with books, pictures and chocolates well managed, there I see Mr. George Driscoll welcoming with a big smile in his face. I sat with him to debate his past experiences, achievements, regrets, and career. Mr. George Driscoll was born in New Jersey. Professor George got his high school degree from catholic high school and went to old boy engineering college to get an engineering degree. After achieving a high school diploma, he attended college. Mr. Driscoll said when I was a student in college he realized he was trying intensely to succeed to make his parents happy. But some classes were so difficult and intense that he lost courage and finally said I cannot do it just to make my parents happy so he skipped an algebra exam and went over to New York City, while he was in New York City he realized that I can’t do it just to make my parents happy I want to do it cause I want to do it. And the realization at that time was a turning point in my life. Mr. Driscoll “Now it didn’t make it any easier, but I began to do it for what I concern the right reason.
