There are a variety of factors that make up an individual such as their experiences and their beliefs. However, one essential component that assembles a person, such as thoughts and feelings, is a personality. A personality defines your life such as the relationships that one constructs over the years and the professional interest someone might pursue. One’s personality is a manner in which one can distinguish themselves from others. Over the years, development of various methods increased in regard to measuring an individual’s personality. Psychologists have focused on personality traits rather than to neatly separate humanity into different types. According to my personal belief the big five personality assessment does correctly portray some aspects that about my personality, however, there are some inaccurate predictions. The first trait was somewhat correct in the fact that I do prefer my traditional hispanic traditions, however, I love experiencing new aspects. I enjoy traveling the world and understanding others cultures and I like to expand my realm of knowledge because it is beneficial. However, the test predicted correctly the conscientiousness percentile. This states that I am well organized, and can be relied upon. This is accurate in the fact that my room and my lifestyle is well organized. Being self-disciplined comes with living far away from home. Independence is not only a privilege but a responsibility. Also, the personality test predicted accurately the fact that I am extroverted in the fact that I am relatively social and enjoy being around others. With exhibiting such a social personality, however, I do not find myself to be critical and harsh. I am good natured and sympathetic of others because many individuals rely on me. Although school and other personal issues can get stressful and nerve-racking, I do believe that staying cam and relaxed is the best way to handle a situation that is undesirable.
