SB Nutrition creators of the world’s first 3d printed Super Banana, which tailors nutritional and medicinal needs for each individual client. The Super Banana is a unique product unlike any other on the market, this in itself is both an opportunity and a threat. The Super Banana can be considered to be an opportunity due it’s unique product application. However, this is also the biggest threat to SB Nutrition. The Super Banana is set to become a product that currently has no rivals, this will not always be the case and with this unknown rivalry, an emerging market will be born. An emerging market can be considered as a threat due to the world’s economic growth, as economies become unstable, investors are less likely to take business risks. …show more content…
The company will be a joint venture company with Temasek Holdings and NUT Park and will have two subsidiaries to begin with: SB Europe and SB Asia.
As detailed through investor analysis (see appendix 3);
• SB Nutrition (as current owners along with Tom Askew of NUT Park) will retain majority control with 65%.
• Working with two investors, Temasek Holdings and Tom Askew of NUT Park who have a shared vision for your product which will allow SB Nutrition to achieve its goal of global reach.
• A Joint venture will provide the benefit of shared assets, shared resources and experience.
• A joint venture will enable SB Nutrition as a new emerging company in a new emerging market to share business risks
• A Joint Venture will also allow SB Nutrition the benefit of being able to access new markets
