Introduction
The objective for taking the management aptitude questionnaire is to determine which three skill approach I possess as a manager. The management aptitude questionnaire indicates a conceptual skill, human skills and technical skills. The purpose is to discover my strength and weaknesses in management. Although, I do not have formal management training the self- assessment is a great predictor of what type manager I will become the 21 century business world. I appear to have a solid capacity for demonstrating conceptual and human skills. Once again, I scored a twenty ?three in conceptual and human skills. The first set of questions were (1,3,6,9,12,15) which focus on conceptual skills .I rated myself a 4- I am often lie this on questions (1,6,9,12 and 15) Daft,2014) My answers were strong on these sets of questions because I have the ability to see the overall picture in career and life. For instance, I am a single mother of a one year old. I must create a schedule for time management to balance motherhood, education and work daily. I must use my time-management skills and conceptual skills to meet deadlines, complete tasks and organization effectively. Question 3 states When I am deciding on particular of course action myself ( such as hobbies to pursue ,languages to study , which job to take , special projects you be involved),I typically consider the long- term ( three years of more) implications of what I would choose to do?( Daft,2014). I rated myself as sometimes like this. The answer is a low reply because it?s about making decisions can be difficulty as a leader. I don?t want to offend or hurt people feelings. Also, having limited abilities can bring a difficulty to finishing deadlines timely. However, I can increase my technical skills by having manuals to guide when problems arise, use information technicians and take classes to strengths my weakness.
Management strength will be used in an organization I possess the ability of conceptual and human skills. Skills based management is over the course of time. Ideally, my capacity to be a good listener will help future co-workers and employees. Being a good listener allows me to help problems and help with solutions. A conceptual manager has the overall vision with an execution approach. For example, by being mother I daily have a vision and road map to complete the start of the day to the end of day. I have taken steps and use time ?management to navigate the day work, motherhood and graduate school. Human skills will allow me to encourage and motivate the team to the finish line.
