A welcoming person with a great understanding of people who are different from me, this includes cultures, different family backgrounds and religions. Which gives me the ability to link and connect my work with the right audience. I enjoy learning about other cultures, especial ancient traditions; this also inspires some of my projects and sketches. From example, my EPQ project (based on comparing ancient Egyptian women and modern (women) included using ancient Egyptian art techniques and materials. The EPQ project gave me university experience of how to run a self-managed project. In preparation for this course, I have done (current studying) artistic courses such as fine arts and photography. In high school, art and design classes interested me. For A-levels I took photography and art and design to build up confidence and skills. I have a great understanding of visual skills, such as how colour is important when complementing the structure or message of an object and visual language skills. I am a self-driven student, who enjoys particle lessons. As an art student I am a quick decision maker, highly self-motived, independent,. I set my self-high stand of punctuality. These include photographic skills, visual communication skills, evaluation of art work and an understanding of space and structure.
