The mind is a complex term that is always changing and forming. It is not easy to define the mind but it can be proven to exist. Throughout the ages the perception of human kind has always changed. It is human nature to change and become a different self but the person always stays the same. Now in the present, the topic of history is presented in almost every school to promote the mistakes done by certain groups of people. The reason this is made is because without knowing the mistakes and learning from them then, you will keep making the same mistake. Time and knowledge is what helps a person grow. Growing is not just a process that is only for humans but animals also experience growth. Animals experience mental and physical growth like humans

During Core we would discuss the topics of the week. It was clear that everyone thought differently even if we all agreed on a topic. Everyone got the chance to present about a paper that was done and to explain why he or she chose that topic. I quickly noticed that everyone choice their topics because they had a form of a connection to the topics they chose. Some choice Hispanic paintings because they themselves were Hispanic and the paintings had a kind of meaning to them. People tend to trust only things that they are comfortable to or have made previous connections with. One way of looking at different points of views is by using religion because religion has been one of the most influential aspects of someone’s life. Now the most common controversy in Religion is the difference between Religion and Science. Some believe that are is not distinction between the both and that they can be used together but others believe that there is big difference. For example Adam Frank believes that science becomes the location where the world can be illuminated as sacred, as worthy of awe and reverence in and of itself (Frank 105). Frank also doesn’t believe that we as humans have to pay a price of knowledge and with religion and science, we have to wait to get the answers (Frank 104). Personally I think science should be used to help improve medicine and not try to change what has been written in the bible but everyone has the ability to have his or her own opinions.
