Athens and Sparta were both Greek city-states that played major roles from the beginning of time. But, Athens could not compare with Sparta in terms of military power. Gradually, these poor choices induced the city of Athens into an poor physical state. Even to more current times, making bad decisions still leads to the steady decline of a city or a country. For instance, during the Maji Maji Rebellion, the natives rebelled against the Germans because of their rule over their land. By the end of this rebellion, the natives were left in a famine and economic instability since Germany had completely ruined their land. If leaders thought out their plans more carefully before acting on them, then there wouldn’t be as many countries left behind in unstable states.
